Whether you’re just interested in learning about DJing and looking to get started, taking your first steps behind the decks, refining your craft, or looking to meet other like-minded individuals who are passionate about music, everyone is welcomed to learn from one another in this inclusive space. Our volunteer mentors are available throughout the night to offer guidance, answer questions, and help you to explore the club equipment and the creative elements offered by the Pioneer V10 and CDJs. Attendees are welcomed to bring their own laptops and equipment for hands-on assistance with Rekordbox/Serato, music organization, tutorials, etc. We learn and grow best when we explore together. Heavily influenced by the DIY spirit of Detroit and the local Midwest scene, he co-founded a party series called Say Less, which most recently hosted the legendary Jay Tripwire at crobar in March. With a natural aversion to sunlight and a natural attraction to loudness, a club setting feels most like home. When digging for new music or putting a set together, his goal is never to find the best track because it fits a specific genre.
